Singapore Airlines is the official airline company of Singapore. It is one of the best international airlines and is widely used by people of different countries. Singapore Airlines came into being in 1972 when it split from Malaysia-Singapore Airlines.

In the late 1900’s, Singapore Airlines began its journey of setting new standards for air travel. The introduced new items and services in the market. These were expensive goods but the quality was worth the price. The most notable thing was that these products were introduced on all three levels of travel.

The company wanted to make sure that everyone had a safe and comfortable journey. These changes were not only made in the airplanes, but conditions on land were also improved. This gave a boost to the airline making it a competitor in the international market. Up till now, Singapore Airlines have expanded their operations yet maintained the highest quality.

Environment and Singapore Airlines

The environment and its destruction is one of the biggest problems concerning the Earth. We do not understand it but in small ways we all are contributing to this problem. Many of us want to do something about this problem but only some lucky ones are able to. Singapore Airlines is one company that is taking this problem seriously and is working towards stopping it.

They have committed to improving environmental conditions both on ground and in air. At one time they have many different projects going on which all have one aim- to reduce pollution and better the environment for all living things. One of the key initiatives is the Harapan Rainforest Initiative. Singapore Airlines is the only airline company to be a part of this brilliant project. The aim is to conserve and protect this rainforest which is home to many different species of birds and plants. The airline has vowed to protect it from any illegal logging or construction of oil plants. Singapore Airlines is also part of the Sustainable Aviation Fuel Users Group. This group makes sure that the dependency on fossil fuels is reduced and more sustainable options are created. The future use of fuels is also discussed and certain goals are set which have to be met annually. The group is doing an excellent job and it is no less than an honor to be a part of it.

What most people do not know is that Singapore Airlines is one of the most cost effective airlines in the world. This quality clearly shows that Singapore Airlines have excellent staff that is willing to help it be the best airline in the world.

The leaders and managers should also be praised here as they have worked hard and thought of innovative ideas to reduce their cost and increase their quality. Maintaining an excellent quality yet also keeping the costs low is a very tricky job, one that many people have failed at. If Singapore Airlines continue to do as they are doing, they will be a force to watch out for.
