LASALLE College of the Arts was founded in 1984 by Brother Joseph McNally, a victor of the imaginative arts and arts teaching in Singapore. From its modest early stages as an undersized arts centre with 27 students, LASALLE has grown-up to turn out to be a foremost instructive establishment in Singapore and now provides a broad range of courses in arts and design to students from all over the world. It is a leading tertiary foundation in cutting-edge modern arts and design learning.
The college offers 30 undergraduate and post-graduate programs in art design, film, animation, fashion, dance, music, theatre, arts management, arts education, art therapy, and art history. Its faculty is directed by a group of people of prized artists, designers, educators and researchers, and their practice-led investigation sets LASALLE separately as an intercontinental centre of fineness. Perilously highly praised alumni outline the center of the enlightening and artistic sectors in Singapore and more and more internationally. LASALLE College of the Arts is a not-for-profit, private educational institution that receives tuition grant support from the Singapore Ministry of Education.
